FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long is the tour?
The tour takes about one hour and the entire walking distance
is approximately one mile.
Are these true stories?
Yes. The stories told on the tour are based on the books of Adi-Kent
Thomas Jeffrey, a best-selling author who researched and investigated
all of her stories.
Do you have actors in costume jumping out to scare people?
No, we do not hire people to scare anyone on the tour. If you
experience anything out of the ordinary, it's the real thing.
Am I allowed to take pictures on the tour?
Yes, you are permitted to take pictures and/or use paranormal
equipment. If you notice anything unusual, we ask that you share
it with us.
If I take the tour, will I see a ghost?
Perhaps. Throughout the years, many people have had paranormal
experiences while on the tour. Adi-Kent Thomas Jeffrey said over
10% of her guests would have a paranormal experience while on
her tours. We believe that figure is much higher now. The reason?
Due to the popularity of cell phone cameras on and paranormal
equipment, more people are taking pictures now than in the 80s
when Adi-Kent was hosting the tours.
Is smoking permitted on the tour?
No. For the sake of the other guests, as well as our tour guides
(smoke wreaks havoc on their voices), we ask that you kindly refrain
from smoking while on the tour.
Is the tour appropriate for children?
Generally, the tour is appropriate for ages 10 and up, however,
this is a relative question as every child is different. If your
child is very sensitive and scared easily, the tour may be too
much for him/her. On the other hand, if you have a younger child
who loves ghost stories, s/he will have no problem with the tour.
You are the best judge on what is appropriate for your children.

Do we ride in a bus for the tour?
No, this is a walking tour.
Do we go inside buildings to hear the stories?
No, due to insurance restrictions, we are not permitted inside
any of the buildings. The entire tour is outside and we walk from
location to location.
What happens if it rains?
We ask that you check the weather ahead of time and prepare for
any light rain or drizzle, as we will do the tour in these conditions.
For the safety of our guests and tour guides, we reserve the right
to cancel the tour due to dangerous conditions, such as thunderstorms,
snow, heavy downpours or a forecast of a hurricane, tornado or
any other hazardous weather. You can check our Facebook page if
the weather is questionable and you think we might cancel.
Are beverages permitted on the tour?
Yes, as long as they are NON-alcoholic and you properly dispose
of your empty bottles, cups or other trash. Please note, alcoholic
beverages are NOT permitted on the streets of New Hope and certainly
not welcome on the tour. If you are openly intoxicated and/or
disruptive on the tour, you will be asked to leave without a refund.
If you are asked to leave and do not cooperate, we will call the
police.
